Precision for Medicine seeks a Senior Client Finance Analyst to support financial management across the client portfolio. This role combines project accounting, revenue recognition, and client-facing financial operations with mentorship responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include: leading monthly project accounting efforts and status meetings with project managers; reviewing and reconciling new projects, change orders, and budget adjustments; setting up new clients in accounting systems and managing billable rates; handling intercompany revenue/cost transactions and cost allocations; assisting with revenue recognition and ensuring contract compliance; preparing monthly project revenue forecasts and variance analysis; reviewing hours, expenses, and project costs against forecasts and budgets; preparing and reviewing client invoicing and following up on past-due amounts; managing client accruals and consolidations; tracking new employee and subcontractor hours/expenses against forecast; coding and approving expense reports to billable projects; supporting annual audit preparation and budget processes; and mentoring junior staff on best practices in client finance.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include agency or professional services experience, month-end close experience, revenue recognition expertise, project accounting background, and client-facing experience.
