Palmetto is a clean tech company accelerating the transition to renewable energy through software, financial products, and services for homeowners, businesses, and entrepreneurs. The Senior Capital Markets Analyst will be an individual contributor supporting capital markets activities across reporting, data operations, and business analysis to advance Palmetto Finance's funding strategies. Key responsibilities include owning monthly and quarterly reporting across capital markets funding structures (tax equity funds, ABS issuances, warehouse facilities), downloading and analyzing large datasets to support fund reporting and investor requirements, and building/maintaining reporting templates for new and existing structures. The role requires developing deep understanding of Palmetto's business—how solar loan origination, customer relationships, and financing products connect to capital markets activity. You will support FP&A, treasury, and cash forecasting activities related to Palmetto Finance, liaise with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment, and identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows and data processes. Strong cross-functional collaboration with Data Analytics, Operations, and Technology teams is essential. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, with 1–3+ years of experience in finance, analytics, or business operations. Residential solar, FP&A, treasury, investor relations, or utility experience is strongly preferred. You should have strong business acumen, solid analytical and Excel skills (Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms a plus), and comfort working with large datasets to build structured, repeatable reporting outputs. The role requires proactive ownership, independent follow-through, cross-team coordination, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with shifting priorities.
