Salary: USD 111,000 - 147,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join the Procurement team. The role supports procurement activities for key defense programs, manages critical supplier relationships, and ensures on-time delivery of materials and services essential to cutting-edge military systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs, maintaining supplier relationships while monitoring performance on quality, delivery, and pricing metrics, and quickly resolving supply chain disruptions and delivery delays. You will track and expedite orders to meet production schedules, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company objectives, and maintain accurate records while tracking procurement KPIs to identify process improvements.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field, plus 4+ years of supply chain experience including technical procurement. You must be able to read technical drawings and blueprints and be willing to relocate to the McHenry, MS facility if not already local.
Preferred qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills is valued.
