Salary: USD 99,000 - 131,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its Procurement team. The role supports procurement activities for key defense programs, manages supplier relationships, and ensures on-time delivery of critical materials and services.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs, maintaining relationships with suppliers while monitoring performance on quality, delivery, and pricing metrics, and quickly resolving supply chain disruptions and delivery delays. You will track and expedite orders to meet production schedules, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals, and maintain accurate records while tracking procurement KPIs to identify process improvements.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field, plus 4+ years of supply chain experience including technical procurement. You must be able to read technical drawings and blueprints and be willing to relocate to McHenry, MS if not already local.
Preferred qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills is valued.
