Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join its R&D Business Consulting practice in Tokyo. In this role, you will partner with life sciences customers to accelerate their path to bringing treatments to patients by transforming their operating models, organizational structures, and leveraging technology, data, and AI capabilities.
You will lead small-scale consulting projects end-to-end, managing teams of 2–3 consultants while developing your people leadership capabilities. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering high-quality customer solutions tailored to complex R&D challenges, driving measurable business value, and supporting organizational change initiatives.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to practice growth by leading proposal development, identifying new business opportunities within customer engagements, and building deep expertise in 1–2 functional areas within the R&D domain (such as Safety, Clinical Operations, or Regulatory Affairs).
You will work with senior life sciences leaders, articulating complex strategic insights clearly and leveraging Veeva's proprietary data, software, and AI platforms to solve high-impact problems. The role offers exposure to multiple projects across the R&D landscape while developing specialized domain knowledge.
