Salary: CAD 121,000 - 163,600 / annual
Jobber is a SaaS platform helping small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. The company has been recognized by Great Place to Work and named to Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50 and Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies lists.
The Brand Marketing and Communications team drives awareness of Jobber through programs including the annual Jobber Summit, Jobber Grants program, and community collaborations. The Brand Partnerships team specifically manages relationships with online influencers to build awareness and drive new customer acquisition.
As Senior Brand Partnerships Manager, you are a senior individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships. This is a hands-on, strategic role split roughly 50/50 between managing your own roster of brand partners and developing program-wide strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and manage a roster of brand partners: recruit, coach, negotiate, onboard, and renew partnerships while managing associated spend and hitting monthly targets.
- Identify growth opportunities across the entire partner network by analyzing what top performers do differently and scaling those insights across the program.
- Build and execute partner growth strategy: develop thesis on where growth is hiding, set targets and forecasts, design and test initiatives, and measure results.
- Implement and launch growth strategies collaboratively across the team, setting targets and reporting on performance to prove incremental sales impact.
- Create repeatable playbooks: document improvements, train the team, and iterate based on what works.
- Analyze channel performance data, translate findings into action, and build defensible forecasts.
- Handle complex partnership negotiations and contracts with strong judgment on brand fit and risk, collaborating with PR and Legal teams as needed.
- Protect and grow Jobber's brand reputation through partner selection and contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and resources.
- Coach and support other Brand Partnership reps, raising the standard for excellence across the team.
- Travel occasionally to represent Jobber at ambassador trips, trade shows, and customer events across North America.
Requirements:
- Extensive marketing and influencer partnership experience with a track record of measurable, social-driven results contributing to new business and revenue.
- Proven ability to take already-performing programs or partners and find meaningful additional growth, with clear explanation of how you achieved it.
- Experience building strategy (not just running campaigns or managing partners): you've formed a growth thesis, forecasted it, executed it, and gotten others to adopt it for scale.
- Strong comfort with data: analyze partner-level performance, build and defend forecasts, distinguish trends from noise without needing someone to build reports for you.
- Ability to influence without authority; previous people-leadership experience is a real asset.
- Strong commercial instincts: confident in pitching, handling objections, negotiating, and closing; ability to maintain a warm pipeline.
- Excellent judgment assessing brand fit and brand risk; you raise concerns early.
- Strong communication and project management skills to coordinate with partners and internal teams.
- Ambition and humility: you push for better, newer, more innovative approaches while staying grounded.
- Comfort with hands-on work: strategy alongside roster building, campaign briefs, backend setup, contract tracking, and content monitoring.
- Ability to travel for ambassador trips, trade shows, and customer events across North America.
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous people-leadership experience.
- Sales or business development experience at a SaaS company or tech startup.
- Experience running paid campaigns on social media with creators.
- Experience with affiliate or partner management platforms and attribution tooling.
- BA, BS, MBA, or MS in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field.
