Aescape is a New York-based physical AI and robotics company that has created Adaptive Body Therapy—a new category for personalized, outcomes-driven bodywork powered by real-time body mapping and advanced robotics. The company is live in premium venues including Equinox, Life Time, Marriott, Four Seasons, and Hilton, reaching thousands of members weekly.
As the first senior creative hire, you will own the visual identity and brand expression across all customer touchpoints: campaigns, films, photography, social media, web, presentations, and in-venue signage. You report to the VP of Growth and Marketing and sit at the creative center of the marketing organization, working daily with product marketing, content, partner operations, and external creative partners.
Your core responsibilities include:
**Creative Leadership & Strategy**: Concept and art direct work that establishes Adaptive Body Therapy as a desirable category. Define the visual language, emotional tone, and cultural positioning for something entirely new. Develop campaign platforms, films, social content, and environmental design that make the category compelling.
**Brand System Development**: Work alongside the external brand agency during system development, then extend it into practice across typography, color, motion, photography direction, layout logic, and iconography. Build repeatable templates and guidelines that the team and partners actually use.
**Hands-On Design & Art Direction**: Execute across social, paid, lifecycle, web, decks, print, and in-venue surfaces. Art direct external production partners through shoots and edits from concept to final delivery. Design the physical moments of discovery—signage, wayfinding, and table environments in partner venues that convert curious guests into first sessions.
**Quality & Consistency**: Set and hold the creative standard as the brand scales. Review partner and co-brand creative, provide toolkits and guardrails that enable local execution while maintaining brand singularity, and brief external resources clearly enough that their work arrives on-brand.
**Operational Pipeline**: Build asset architecture, version control, and template libraries. Create an intake and review flow that lets marketing move at campaign speed. Scope and brief external design and production partners, and flex freelance capacity as demand shifts.
You bring 7+ years of visual or brand design experience with real campaign and brand platform work. You have a distinct point of view demonstrated through a portfolio of concepts you originated and work you art directed. You have experience defining a visual language for something new—category creation, brand launch, or repositioning. You have strong art direction instincts across photography, film, and motion, with the ability to cast, brief, be on set, and shape edits. You are fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with motion literacy (and ideally capability). You have experience collaborating with external brand agencies from the client side and taking a system forward after handoff. You understand presentation and document systems, operational pipeline design, and can lead with clear recommendations backed by reasoning.
