ServiceNow is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead large, cross-product strategic design initiatives that transform how people work globally. In this role, you will drive product experiences that exemplify beautiful design, catalyze user and enterprise productivity, and create extensible design systems and frameworks. You'll provide strategic direction and vision for collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams spanning product management and engineering, acting as an industry influencer and thought leader.
Key responsibilities include leading strategic design initiatives critical to business unit or company-wide success, driving design strategy across multiple products and complex horizontal initiatives, and serving as a strategic advocate for design and users at senior leadership and executive levels. You'll participate in the complete product development lifecycle, influence cross-functional teams, and contribute to industry thought leadership through trade events and publications.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of relevant design experience with a portfolio demonstrating formative contributions to design language, strategy, processes, and standards at company level. You should have deep experience in user experience design, corporate or software environments, and a track record of delivering products that inspire customers. Experience with AI integration into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is highly valued. You'll be seen as a thought leader within your company and industry, with proven influence skills and the ability to define design strategy across complex initiatives. Experience with web and software application design lifecycles is essential.
