Salary: USD 60,000 - 80,000 / annual

Tempus is seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Partnerships to lead metrics-driven engagements with high-value oncology accounts. You will operate as a strategic consultant across a defined three-phase lifecycle—Investigation, Intervention, and Monitoring—analyzing complex account metrics, designing scalable solutions, and guiding accounts to targeted performance benchmarks. Key responsibilities include architecting and facilitating execution of metrics-driven support strategies for high-priority accounts; analyzing complex account datasets to identify macro-trends, solve root-cause operational challenges, and translate successful strategies into scalable improvements; directing Monthly Business Reviews and serving as the primary strategic liaison between clinical staff, pathology labs, and internal teams; managing account enablement through training and upskilling of internal field and sales teams; serving as a leader and mentor to Associates through team training, case study showcasing, coaching, and modeling best practices; championing creation of high-caliber client deliverables using AI tools to aggregate data and automate workflows; and conducting quarterly client site visits to lead high-stakes initiatives and drive process improvements. Beyond account strategy, you will set operational standards, coach team members, lead peer training, and leverage advanced AI tooling to scale team efficiency. This role requires navigating complex healthcare settings, managing high-stakes clinical environments, and guiding external teams through change management. REQUIREMENTS: - B.S. in Biology, Life Science, or related scientific field - 2+ years of experience in external Account Management or Project Management - 2+ years of experience leveraging data and analytics to present solutions, solve complex business problems, track KPIs, and drive client outcomes - Proven track record of leading cross-functional alignment across Sales, Commercial Operations, Customer Success, and Product/Engineering teams - Advanced capacity to synthesize and communicate complex genomic, scientific, and technical oncology information to executive and clinical audiences - Advanced data analytics capabilities with proven track record of extracting macro-level learnings from data to shape strategic direction - Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship aptitude - Exceptional account management and project management expertise in high-stakes, fast-paced clinical environments - Deep sophistication in navigating complex healthcare settings and guiding external teams through change management - Excellent communication and presentation skills across diverse healthcare roles PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Advanced proficiency in AI platforms (Claude, Gemini) with knowledge of prompt engineering and workflow automation - Advanced experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and data visualization programs (BigQuery, Looker) - Experience with project management systems (Monday.com, Trello) - Advanced proficiency with Google or Microsoft Suite - Familiarity with oncology EMR systems and clinical pathology lab workflows
