The Senior Associate Scientist, Scientific Writing role is a senior individual contributor position within the Quality Control (QC) department. This scientist independently leads documentation projects across operational, analytical, microbiological, and stability functions. The role requires deep collaboration with subject matter experts across all departments and QC team members at all levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining high-level technical and scientific documents
- Creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the QC group
- Working with cross-functional teams under guidance from direct supervisor and senior team members
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Supporting complex technical documentation needs across multiple QC functions
The ideal candidate will have strong scientific writing skills, experience with regulatory documentation in a biotech/pharma environment, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compliant documentation. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about supporting the development of life-changing therapies.
