Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) physician to join their Virtual Health Assessment team, delivering quality healthcare to patients via phone and video. This is a full-time, employed role with a focus on virtual care delivery and clinical supervision.
You will provide direct medical care to Oscar's members through virtual platforms while serving as a supervising physician to nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Your responsibilities include delivering care in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, collaborating with medical assistants, nurses, and other providers across service lines, and ensuring compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations.
The role requires board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, and fluency in Spanish (read, write, and speak). You must be licensed in Tennessee and either Texas or Florida, with eligibility for IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission). The company will assist with obtaining additional state licenses as needed.
You'll work Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm EST and Friday-Saturday 8am-6pm EST, with 8 or 10-hour shifts. One late shift (ending at 8pm EST) per week and one Saturday shift per quarter are required. This is a work-from-home role, though occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.
Minimum qualifications include 3+ years of outpatient family or internal medicine practice experience and familiarity with value-based care documentation standards. Telemedicine experience (2+ years) and regulatory supervision experience with NPs and PAs are valued but not required.
