Salary: USD 216,406 - 284,032 / annual
Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual physician (Spanish/English fluency required, verified by proctored assessment) to join the Virtual Health Assessment Team. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States, with required residency in one of 18 specified states (AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, VA).
The role involves delivering quality virtual care to patients via phone and video, with direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in compliance with state-by-state regulations. You will collaborate with medical assistants, RNs, and other providers across service lines, ensuring adherence to Oscar Medical Group guidelines and applicable laws.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm EST, Friday-Saturday 8am-6pm EST. Shifts are 8 or 10 hours; one late shift (ending 8pm EST) per week is required, plus one Saturday shift per quarter. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.
Requirements: MD or DO from accredited medical school; board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; fluency in Spanish (proctored assessment); active medical license in Tennessee AND either Texas or Florida (IMLCC eligible); 3+ years outpatient family or internal medicine experience; experience with value-based care documentation standards. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses with company assistance is expected.
Bonus qualifications: 2+ years telemedicine experience, licenses in MO/AL/MS, regulatory supervision experience with NPs/PAs.
Reports to Director, Virtual Health Assessment.
