Celonis is seeking a Senior Applied Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor and execution expert for healthcare and life sciences customers. This role bridges technical process mining capabilities with strategic business outcomes, positioning you as an architect for critical customer initiatives.
You will own the end-to-end value journey for major accounts, translating complex operational data into clear, measurable business impact. Working closely with sales teams and Celonis Services, you will identify high-impact use cases, build business cases leveraging industry benchmarks, and conduct value assessments or proof-of-value projects that demonstrate strategic ROI to C-level executives.
Key responsibilities include: discovering and framing value by translating customer priorities into Celonis use cases; realizing value through business workshops, process enhancement identification, and change initiatives; and scaling value by building strategic expansion roadmaps that embed Celonis as a transformation platform while driving adoption and renewal.
You will facilitate workshops, derive improvement measures across core business functions, present results to senior management, and provide product feedback to enhance the platform. This is a customer-facing role requiring deep process expertise, analytical rigor, and proven ability to drive enterprise-wide transformation.
Required: 9+ years in analytical roles (solution consulting, sales engineering, management consulting, or in-house analytics/CoE) with demonstrated ability to secure value through data analysis and software deployment. Strong knowledge of business software/SaaS (SAP, Oracle), experience with RPA, BI tools, dashboards, and process mining preferred. SQL and Python experience valued. Domain expertise in supply chain, finance, CPG, BFSI, or manufacturing is a plus. Excellent project management, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills essential.
