Salary: CAD 95,000 - 105,000 / annual

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Analyst, Internal Audit to join their Finance team and support the Internal Audit function. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit, you will lead and execute all phases of internal audit engagements across operational, financial, and compliance areas, ensuring adherence to professional standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Key responsibilities include leading complex audit fieldwork from planning through reporting, conducting deep-dive analysis to identify risks and control gaps, drafting high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations, and driving implementation of management's corrective actions. You will participate in ad-hoc special projects, investigations, and strategic initiatives as requested by senior leadership or the Audit Committee. You'll stay current with emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting the business and internal audit profession. Required qualifications include 3-5+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or related risk management/compliance fields, with at least two years in internal audit. You should have strong knowledge of the COSO framework and IIA standards, proven experience leading complex audit engagements and performing robust risk assessments, and demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment with analytical rigor and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and audit management software is essential. Excellent written and spoken English with strong presentation and communication skills are required. Highly preferred qualifications include completion or in-progress pursuit of CIA and/or CISA certifications. Additional valuable experience includes familiarity with AuditBoard, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce; background in high-growth, publicly traded technology companies; fluency in French; and experience with data analytics tools in audit contexts (ACL, IDEA, Alteryx). CPA, CFE, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure with tight deadlines. You thrive in fast-paced environments, juggle multiple projects, and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. You possess strong analytical skills, professional judgment, a desire to take ownership, and a team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently.
