This Senior Analyst role owns the technical core of accounting operations—inventory accounting, logistics cost accounting, lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), investment accounting (ASC 320/321), and controllership of a European subsidiary. You'll move beyond routine journal entries to gain full visibility into how marketing spend, logistics costs, lease obligations, and investment performance flow into financial results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own GL areas outright within 90 days, with direct accountability
- Run lease accounting, revenue recognition, and investment accounting under US GAAP
- Act as controller for a European subsidiary, owning actuals-to-forecast analysis and FP&A discussions with business heads
- Build and maintain reconciliations and MIS reviewed at VP Accounting level
- Leverage a modern tech stack: NetSuite, Coupa, Numeric, Brex, Looker, and Claude Enterprise for workflow automation
- Partner with Engineering to build custom agents and automate accounting workflows
The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of experience, strong core accounting fundamentals, and genuine curiosity about how operational data becomes financial truth. You prefer building reconciliation engines to re-keying invoices and want to deepen expertise in lease accounting, revenue recognition, investment accounting, and inventory accounting.
