FIS is seeking a Senior Actuarial Product Development Manager to lead the design and development of actuarial modelling features within their Prophet library ecosystem, a critical platform used by global financial services clients. In this role, you will own the code architecture for new Prophet model features, with particular focus on the Asset Liability Strategy (ALS) library. You'll work directly with global clients to support their use of Prophet models, define technical requirements, and ensure deliverables are thoroughly tested and well-documented. As a subject matter expert, you'll review peers' actuarial code for accuracy, mentor internal team members, and collaborate across actuarial teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. You'll lead a team of Prophet library developers responsible for maintaining and enhancing a range of global actuarial libraries. Key responsibilities include designing and testing new library function enhancements, acting as the go-to expert for both internal and external client questions, and ensuring all product work meets rigorous standards. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a science-based subject, at least 10 years of experience in life insurance or consultancy, and a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with the Prophet system and ALS library. You must be a qualified or part-qualified actuary with strong regulatory knowledge and technical standards expertise in at least one major market. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and experience working in large, diverse global teams are essential. Desirable experience includes advanced Prophet modelling techniques (new business processing, calculation looping, rebasing, goal seeking, nested structures, modules, stochastic modelling), awareness of performance optimization, technical knowledge of Gen AI applications in actuarial work, programming and systems development expertise, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and awareness of emerging regulatory and risk topics affecting financial services. FIS offers a flexible and creative work environment, diverse and collaborative culture, professional development resources, volunteer opportunities, and competitive compensation.
