The Senior Accounting Specialist will oversee the administration and accounting of Datacor's foreign entities, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, US GAAP conformity, and proper foreign currency translation. Key responsibilities include managing consolidation support, intercompany transactions under transfer pricing studies, state payroll registrations, and resolution of federal, state, and local tax and payroll notices.
Day-to-day duties span month-end close procedures, cash postings, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and accounts payable management. The role requires serving as a key resource for troubleshooting issues within contract transaction data in partnership with the Finance Operations team, completing ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks, and identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to timely and accurate task completion. This is an individual contributor role focused on technical accounting expertise rather than people management.
