Neko Health is seeking a Senior Accountant to own general ledger accounting for the management company and support the full accounting cycle. The role encompasses journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Key responsibilities include performing general ledger accounting for the management company; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; supporting multi-entity consolidation with intercompany eliminations and reconciliations; handling day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense allocations; supporting month-end and year-end close processes; maintaining bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flows; supporting external audits and tax filings through schedule and documentation preparation; maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance, HR, and Operations.
The role offers exposure to close processes, consolidation work, and process improvement opportunities. You'll identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices across the organization.
Required qualifications include an advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 4-6 years of experience in corporate or management company accounting with audit background; experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting; strong command of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards; proficiency in Business Central and advanced Excel skills; and strong communication and collaborative abilities. CPA certification is preferred.
