LemFi is a Series B fintech building financial infrastructure for the Global South, with 400+ employees across 20+ countries processing over $1B in monthly transactions. LemFi Europe, authorized in Dublin, is expanding across Europe and seeking a Senior Accountant to own the Irish entity's financial operations.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will own the complete month-end close process, producing accurate management accounts and board packs for senior leadership. You will prepare statutory accounts, tax filings, and regulatory submissions to the Central Bank of Ireland, managing external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators independently. As deputy to the Head of Finance, you will step up to lead the function during absences or when the Head of Finance supports the wider group.
Key responsibilities include driving forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to turn raw financial data into decision-ready insights; managing high-volume reconciliations while continuously improving processes using AI tools and NetSuite automation; and building cross-functional relationships with operations, tax, and planning teams as a trusted finance partner.
You will use AI purposefully to streamline reporting and support commercial storytelling, while critically interrogating every output. The role offers the opportunity to build processes from scratch in a newly authorized entity with no legacy systems to untangle.
Required qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with 4-5 years post-qualification experience. Background in a Big Four firm (ideally with fintech/financial services clients) or direct fintech/regulated financial services experience. Hands-on experience with statutory reporting, regulatory submissions, and stakeholder management in regulated environments. Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel with ability to interrogate complex data sets. Confident using AI tools for automation and process improvement. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize under pressure, and communicate complex financial information to senior management and board-level audiences.
Nice-to-have: experience in newly authorized or early-stage regulated entities, multi-currency accounting, cross-border financial flows, or board/regulatory presentation experience.
