The Senior Accountant will join Harvey's Finance team in Dublin to lead international accounting operations across the company's EMEA entities. This role is foundational in building scalable accounting processes as Harvey expands globally.
Key responsibilities include executing monthly close cycles under US GAAP for international entities, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses, overseeing local statutory audit and reporting requirements, and coordinating with external auditors. The role involves managing third-party accounting service providers, preparing monthly funding requests for subsidiaries, and partnering with US Corporate Accounting on reporting matters. You'll collaborate with the international payroll team on journal entries and reconciliations, support tax filings and initiatives, and contribute to new entity setup and operationalization as the company expands. Additionally, you'll identify process improvements, strengthen controls, and evaluate AI solutions to drive efficiency gains.
The ideal candidate holds a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) with Big 4 audit training preferred. You'll have 5+ years of post-qualification experience in high-growth multinational environments with demonstrated expertise in IFRS, FRS102, and US GAAP. Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar cloud platforms), Excel/Google Sheets, and close management tools is required. You're a proactive self-starter comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth settings, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset is essential.
