VPL modernizes clinical supply chains for health systems and outpatient pharmacies, serving over 700 hospitals with a 97% customer retention rate. We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team, reporting to the Accounting Manager.
In this role, you'll manage core accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. You'll assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement preparation and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights that support business operations.
You'll also support compliance and controls by ensuring adherence to GAAP, maintaining internal control policies, preparing audit documentation, and identifying financial and operational risks. Additionally, you'll contribute to systems and process improvements by supporting enhancements to our Sage Intacct accounting system and helping develop documentation and policies to scale our growing finance function.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation skills; proficiency with accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred), Excel, and AI tools; strong communication skills; comfort navigating ambiguity and driving process improvements in a scaling environment. SaaS or tech-enabled company experience is preferred.
