Skild AI is building general-purpose robotic intelligence using data-driven machine learning. The Senior Accountant will own full-cycle accounting operations for the company's India subsidiary, serving as a key accounting resource within the finance function.
Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, payroll accounting, and general ledger operations in QuickBooks. You will process vendor invoices end-to-end (coding, approvals, payment execution), maintain vendor master data, and reconcile vendor statements weekly. On the AR side, you'll generate and issue customer invoices per contractual terms, apply cash receipts, maintain the AR subledger, and proactively manage collections.
You will coordinate with the US Controller on revenue recognition under ASC 606, monitor key working capital metrics (AR aging, DSO), and escalate trends to management. The role requires preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions) and performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Month-end and quarter-end close responsibilities include delivering accurate financials, variance analysis, and reporting to the US Controller and CFO. You'll maintain a clean, audit-ready general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and Indian accounting standards, process and reconcile monthly payroll entries, and support statutory compliance activities including TDS filings, GST reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
Additional duties include serving as QuickBooks administrator for the India entity, supporting external audits, and identifying process improvements as the company scales. This is a hands-on role requiring independent operation and effective cross-team collaboration across time zones.
