As a Senior Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will own core accounting operations across the business. Your responsibilities include managing daily accounting activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, prepare accurate financial statements and reports, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and financial compliance. You will also maintain accurate data across accounting systems, identify opportunities to improve processes, and partner with Finance and other departments to resolve issues and help accounting operations scale with the company's growth. The role requires at least 4 years of accounting experience at a SaaS company, with demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations. You must have strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles, experience supporting close processes and preparing financial reports, and excellent analytical and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. Preferred qualifications include startup experience, CPA certification or progress toward it, familiarity with NetSuite, Brex, and Zip, experience with external audits and internal controls, and a track record of improving or scaling accounting processes in growing organizations.
