Key responsibilities include owning assigned month-end close tasks across specific GL areas and departmental accruals; running budget vs actuals reporting and investigating variances with function partners; supporting audit preparation by gathering schedules, reconciling to GL, and responding to auditor requests; building basic financial models to project ROI, justify capex, and develop departmental P&Ls; driving process improvements in the close cycle, AP/AR, and expense management; and running ad-hoc analyses for management. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years of progressive accounting experience including cost accounting in manufacturing or industrial settings; demonstrated ability to perform hands-on bookkeeping while thinking strategically about financial planning and reporting; solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and GAAP; proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP) and strong Excel skills.
