As Senior Accountant, you will own critical aspects of Legora's accounting function and close processes. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with real ownership and autonomy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and supporting monthly and quarterly close cycles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
- Managing assigned operational accounting areas such as cash, accruals, payroll, capitalized commissions, fixed assets, or revenue-related balances
- Preparing financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A teams
- Partnering with FP&A to ensure alignment between accounting results, forecasts, and business drivers
- Improving and automating close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows
- Maintaining compliance with global tax requirements, including indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing
- Supporting audit and review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting
You bring 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or dynamic environments, with background in technology or start-up settings. You have hands-on experience with IFRS or K3, multi-entity structures, and consolidation. You're detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning work end-to-end, with strong communication and collaboration skills across Finance and the business.
Nice-to-have qualifications include Big 4 or high-growth tech company experience, CPA or accounting certification, experience with NetSuite or FloQast, exposure to revenue or product accounting, and interest in automation and AI-enabled workflows.
