ICEYE is a rapidly scaling aerospace and defense company delivering space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities via synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology. The company operates globally with over 1,600 employees across 11 countries.
You will join the Group Accounting team as a Senior Accountant, reporting to the Group Accounting Senior Manager. Based in Warsaw or Espoo on a hybrid arrangement (3 days on-site per week), you will play a central role in ICEYE's monthly group closing and consolidation process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute general ledger and controlling activities: journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support monthly group closing and consolidation, ensuring accuracy and consistency of group and subsidiary financial data
- Oversee subsidiaries as a point of contact for group policy adherence, reporting timelines, and quality standards
- Prepare financial reporting deliverables including IFRS footnotes and FAS reporting
- Collaborate with Business Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and operational teams on financial data alignment
- Drive standardization and scalability of GL processes across the multinational environment
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and mitigate risks
- Support ERP system optimization (NetSuite) through design requirements, configuration, and testing
- Assist with year-end audit activities and documentation
Required qualifications:
- 2–5 years of general ledger accounting experience, ideally in high-growth multinational environments
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance
- Exposure to financial transformation, process improvement, and ERP initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and proactive with ability to see the bigger picture
