ICEYE is a space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) company delivering synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology and data to governments, defense, intelligence, and commercial users globally. The company operates 1600+ employees across 11 international offices and serves dual-use applications including natural-catastrophe intelligence, maritime monitoring, and financial services. You will join the Group Accounting team as a Senior Accountant, reporting to the Group Accounting Senior Manager. Based in Warsaw or Espoo (hybrid, 3 days on-site weekly), you will be a key contributor to ICEYE's monthly group closing and consolidation process during rapid global expansion. Key responsibilities include executing general ledger and controlling activities with timely journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations; supporting monthly group closing and consolidation ensuring accuracy and consistency across group and subsidiary financial data; overseeing subsidiaries as a point of contact for group policy adherence and reporting timelines; preparing financial reporting deliverables including IFRS footnotes and FAS reporting; collaborating with Business Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and operational teams on accurate financial data and alignment; driving standardization and scalability of general ledger processes across the multinational environment; identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls; supporting ERP system (NetSuite) optimization through design requirements and configuration improvements; and assisting with year-end audit activities. Required qualifications: 2–5 years general ledger accounting experience, ideally in high-growth multinational environments; bachelor's degree in accounting; strong knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance; exposure to financial transformation and ERP development; self-motivated and proactive mindset; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail; fluent English (written and verbal). Advantages include professional accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA), Big 4 experience, and knowledge of Finnish Accounting Standards. Employment is subject to applicable security screening.
