Gamma is a profitable, high-growth B2B SaaS company that has crossed $100M ARR and achieved a $2.1B valuation. As Senior Accountant reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will be the operational engine of a deliberately lean finance team. You will own the complete month-end close cycle, including journal entries, flux analysis, balance sheet and cash reconciliations, and delivery of timely, accurate US GAAP financial statements. You'll prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules for management and investor reporting. Beyond close, you'll manage general corporate accounting across prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, leases, stock-based compensation, and payroll. You'll also own accounts receivable, accounts payable, and travel & expense day-to-day—reviewing and approving vendor bills, expense reimbursements, and cash receipts while automation and AI handle routine processing. You'll support external audits, including PBC preparation, and maintain internal controls and process documentation for your areas. The role includes supporting Gamma's in-progress ERP implementation from data migration through post-go-live optimization, with a focus on using AI and automation to reduce manual work and measurably shorten the close timeline. This is a high-ownership generalist role where you'll run multiple accounting areas end-to-end with limited supervision. You'll have real breadth and direct impact rather than a narrow slice of a large accounting organization. The team maintains a strong in-office culture, working in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco with flexibility to work from home when focus is needed.
