Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive, personalized platform that combines dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person/virtual care. The company is backed by leading venture investors including Maverick Ventures and Yosemite.
As Senior Accountant reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will own key components of Daymark's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process as the company scales into new markets and lines of business. Your responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations; preparing accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements; maintaining and reconciling the general ledger across multiple entities; supporting cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes; and assisting with the design and continuous improvement of accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
You will support internal and external audits, partner cross-functionally with Operations, Clinical, and People teams on accounting treatment of business activity, and contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects supporting company decision-making.
Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger accounting and month-end close. Preferred qualifications include public accounting and/or industry experience, CPA license, multi-entity accounting experience (particularly with professional corporation structures in healthcare), value-based care or healthcare industry background, and prior startup or high-growth company experience. You should have strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, exceptional attention to detail, analytical and process-improvement mindset, strong cross-functional communication skills, comfort with accounting systems and Google/Microsoft tools, and ability to thrive in ambiguity at a growing startup.
