Brale is building the infrastructure layer for stablecoins, enabling fintechs and platforms to launch and run compliant stablecoin programs at scale. The company is bringing accounting in-house and seeking a Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day financial operations and establish the foundation for future growth.
In this build role, you will own daily banking and cash management, including transaction coding, discrepancy investigation, and maintaining real-time cash visibility for leadership. You'll manage accounts receivable operations—setting up customer subscriptions, maintaining billing records, tracking payment status, and resolving billing exceptions through platforms like Stripe. You'll run accounts payable, coordinating vendor onboarding, processing invoices, reviewing coding and approvals, managing payment schedules, and maintaining vendor records.
You'll support the month-end close process by performing reconciliations, preparing workpapers and supporting schedules, and assisting with financial reporting, audit, and compliance. A key part of your role is owning the accounting transition from external accountants, partnering during knowledge transfer, documenting processes, and bringing recurring activities in-house.
Success in year one means daily cash activity is reviewed and reconciled without lag, invoicing runs smoothly with faster payment follow-up, routine accounting work is fully owned internally with documented processes, and finance leadership can focus on forecasting and strategy.
You bring 5+ years of accounting experience including month-end close ownership, strong expertise in A/R, A/P, and bank reconciliations, experience with Stripe or similar subscription billing platforms, comfort with ERP/accounting systems and transaction coding, a track record of independent operation in fast-moving environments, and sharp attention to detail with a process-improvement mindset.
You'll work fully remote with async documentation and proactive communication. Tools include Stripe, DualEntry, Bill.com, and standard banking/reconciliation platforms.
