Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. This role is part of a new vertical go-to-market motion, distinct from the existing Named Account team. You'll own net-new enterprise pipeline and expansion within an assigned industry vertical across North American markets.
You will drive full-cycle enterprise sales from first meeting to close, running deals using MEDDPICC or Mixpanel's chosen methodology. Your responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying new Mixpanel customers, identifying new business units and subsidiaries within existing accounts, and driving expansion alongside Renewal Managers and Customer Value Managers. You'll forecast accurately, surface risk early, and maintain current SFDC pipeline data.
Beyond your own territory, you'll build deep vertical expertise and shape the team's playbooks. You'll develop industry-specific discovery questions, messaging, and competitive positioning based on what you learn in the field. You'll partner closely with Sales Engineering on technical validation and demos tailored to your vertical's use cases, ask credible technical discovery questions about prospects' data and analytics maturity, and collaborate with Marketing and Product Marketing to test vertical messaging against field insights.
As the vertical model matures, you'll provide your manager with deal volume, win rates, and competitive patterns to support scaling the vertical. You'll also partner with Enablement on training and onboarding for the wider team.
Ideal candidates have a strong track record of full-cycle SaaS sales success from net-new acquisition to expansion, experience selling into a specific industry vertical or ability to build vertical fluency quickly, comfort operating in ambiguity, strong discovery and qualification skills, and experience with analytics, data, or technical products. You should communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders and have a track record of turning field learnings into repeatable playbooks.
