Duvo helps large enterprises automate operational work scattered across ERPs, portals, inboxes, spreadsheets, and phone calls. The company serves major European retailers, e-commerce brands, and FMCG companies, with typical deal sizes of €100k–€250k ARR that expand over time.
You will own a sales patch across continental Europe, responsible for the full sales cycle from initial discovery through pilot, contract negotiation, and expansion. You'll work directly with the Head of Commercial and founders, collaborating with a UK-based AE and pre-sales team.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships across your European territory, conducting discovery, scoping pilots, and closing contracts
- Sell to operational buyers (Heads of Supply Chain, Finance Directors, Commercial Operations leads) by understanding their P&L, processes, and pain points, then bringing pre-sales in to demonstrate solutions
- Run discovery conversations with a clear hypothesis: by the end of the first call, you'll have identified what to automate, quantified the cost of inaction, and scheduled the next meeting
- Co-design pilots with pre-sales to guarantee outcomes and create a clear path to production
- Build pipeline independently when needed, though the team provides support
- Apply commercial discipline (MEDDPICC, mutual action plans, multi-threaded deals) as standard practice
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments, speaking fluently with both supply chain and IT leadership
- Make honest assessments of deal viability, willing to kill weak opportunities early rather than carry them through the quarter
Duvo is a seed-stage company backed by Index Ventures ($15M seed). The founder and CEO, Tom Cupr, previously founded one of Europe's largest online grocery retailers. You'll be the first continental European AE on the ground, shaping your own patch. The role includes quarterly offsites in Prague and travel to customer sites as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years selling complex enterprise SaaS into European markets, ideally products requiring integration, configuration, or operational reliance
- Proven track record closing six-figure deals with multiple stakeholders and sales cycles measured in months
- Ability to build pipeline independently
- Commercial discipline as a core habit (MEDDPICC, mutual action plans, multi-threaded deals)
- Ability to engage effectively with both supply chain and IT leadership simultaneously
- Fluent English; a second European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish) is a plus
- Nice to have: consulting background (strategy, ops, or implementation) or direct experience selling into Retail or FMCG operations
