Instructure is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive new business growth across the K-12 education market. You will sell the Instructure suite—Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and related services—within your assigned territory, helping school districts modernize their learning infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: - Hunting for new logo business while upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts - Sharing insights to help prospective clients evaluate solutions and make informed decisions - Preparing tailored messaging and presentations for school district decision-makers - Guiding prospects through the purchasing process to successful closure - Accurately forecasting quarterly and annual sales performance - Developing targeted sales strategies to build and nurture a robust pipeline - Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout districts - Consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas - Partnering with Regional Directors and clients in the field to gain referrals and expand market presence - Logging detailed account information in Salesforce CRM You will work in a hybrid model with up to 50% travel required. Requirements: - 5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally within EdTech or SaaS solution sales - Experience with enterprise-level software sales and services - Understanding of educational pedagogy and the dynamics of selling a learning management system (LMS) preferred - Demonstrated ability to sell at all levels, including C-suite and executive leadership - Outstanding strategic and consultative sales skills - Ability to conduct thorough needs analyses and develop tailored proposals - Willingness to travel up to 50%
