Artera is a healthcare technology company on a mission to make healthcare #1 in customer service. Founded in 2015, the company has grown to serve 1,000+ specialties, FQHCs, health systems, and federal agencies with agentic AI solutions that strengthen patient communication and care delivery workflows.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will drive growth across Artera's healthcare client base by engaging decision-makers at leading specialty provider organizations. You'll own the full sales cycle end-to-end—from prospecting and market research to strategic outreach, discovery, demos, and deal closure. Your primary focus is building and managing a robust pipeline while consistently meeting a $1M annual revenue quota.
Key responsibilities include: conducting discovery calls and presentations that communicate Artera's value to physician practices, management groups, and financial stakeholders; staying ahead of healthcare industry trends to identify opportunities; leveraging sales methodologies like Meddpicc to structure deal progression; collaborating with SDRs, Customer Success, Engineering, and FinOps teams to develop tailored solutions; and building long-term client relationships with smooth handoffs to Customer Success for retention and upsell.
You'll use CRM and sales enablement tools including Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo to track activities and outcomes. Success requires exceptional communication and presentation skills, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures in healthcare environments.
Required qualifications: 4-7 years of SaaS sales experience with 80%+ quota attainment track record; proven experience selling into specialty healthcare markets (orthopedics, gastroenterology, outpatient practices); strong understanding of value-based care, reimbursement models, and physician-oriented solutions; self-starter mentality; proficiency with CRM and sales enablement platforms.
Bonus experience includes startup or scaling company background, clinical or administrative healthcare roles, and exposure to sales presentation development.
