You will join as a Senior Account Executive covering the SLED West Territory, with a focus on selling to California state and local government entities. Your primary responsibility is to identify, develop, and close direct sales engagements for Precisely's Data Integrity, Data Integration, and Location Intelligence solutions with AI capabilities. You will also upgrade and expand existing accounts and work closely with regional partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Master Precisely products, services, and approved sales methodology
- Develop deep understanding of industry trends, market opportunities, and pain points in your territory
- Build and execute comprehensive business plans to generate pipeline and revenue
- Cultivate strong client relationships and expand into new accounts and buying centers
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Services, and other teams to create compelling business propositions
- Leverage internal resources, channel partners, distributors, and technology partners to extend reach
- Prioritize customer value and experience throughout the lifecycle
- Manage territory forecast and sales documentation in Salesforce CRM
- Support the VP of Insurance in executing regional strategy
This is a 100% remote role anywhere in the US. Approximately 25% travel is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field AND 5+ years of enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred); equivalent experience accepted in place of degree
- Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels
- Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success in value- or outcome-based selling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
- Working knowledge and selling experience in the Insurance industry
- High intellectual curiosity and adaptability; ability to understand clients' businesses and collaborate on innovative solutions
- Proficiency with AI tools for account research, outreach drafting, call recording summaries, and AI-assisted CRM hygiene (Salesforce, Copilot for Sales); familiarity with signal-based prospecting tools
Preferred qualifications:
- SaaS software sales experience
- Experience selling into the Insurance industry
- Successful selling history within global companies with broad product/service portfolios
- Demonstrated experience driving complex sales cycles and customer success in matrixed selling organizations
- East Coast location preferred (but not required for otherwise highly qualified candidates)
