CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior 3D Motion Designer to lead the creation of high-quality 3D content for web, social media, press releases, events, and executive presentations. In this role, you will own the production of complex 3D animated sequences and renders, translating technical aerospace and satellite concepts into visually compelling and technically accurate visual narratives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing sophisticated 3D animated sequences that communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Establishing and maintaining standards for modular, reusable animation assets to improve production efficiency
- Mentoring and guiding junior designers on creative and technical execution
- Working with general supervision, exercising independent judgment on both creative direction and technical implementation
- Collaborating across cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into compelling visual stories
- Producing renders and animations for satellite systems, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space/airborne platforms
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in 3D animation software, a portfolio demonstrating complex motion design work, and the ability to communicate technical aerospace concepts visually. You should be comfortable working autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative, dynamic team environment. This is a hands-on role that values both creative excellence and technical precision.
