Vizzia is a post-Series B French scale-up specializing in security camera and CCTV solutions for local authorities. The company has successfully deployed across 200+ councils in France, Belgium, and Switzerland and is now expanding into the UK market with initial clients already signed and go-lives delivered.
As Security Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end project delivery for council installations across the UK, reporting to the Head of Operations. This is a hands-on role combining field operations, technical coordination, and client management.
Key responsibilities include:
**PMO Delivery:** Lead complete rollout of installations across council sites from kick-off through handover. Oversee configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet each council's specific requirements.
**Partner Management:** Train and certify installation partners on solution deployment and maintenance, ensuring compliance with quality and uptime standards. Act as the primary interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities, and escalations.
**Client Technical Support:** Serve as the named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within defined SLAs. Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations. Produce execution packs for installers. Coordinate spares and replacements to minimize downtime.
**HQ Coordination:** Produce regular progress reports and updates for management. Manage stock levels and maintain accurate project records. Build strong relationships with HQ, external partners, and council clients.
**Field Operations:** This role requires regular travel across the UK to deployment sites. UK driving licence is essential.
This is positioned as a builder role—you will be the first Security Project Manager in the UK, with opportunity to expand scope, increase autonomy, and potentially build out your own team as the operation scales.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical delivery or field operations of camera and CCTV systems
- Ideally experience in council, public sector, or similarly complex environments
- Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems
- Understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings (bonus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, comfortable explaining technical issues
- Organized, proactive, able to work independently
- Full working proficiency in English
- Valid UK driving licence (required)
- Bonus: familiarity with EV charging infrastructure or UK local authority/public sector/B2G experience
