Fireblocks is a $8B+ SaaS platform trusted by major financial institutions, banks, and Web3 companies to securely manage digital asset operations on the blockchain. The Security & Information team is seeking a Security Operations Team Lead to enhance security infrastructure and drive the modernization of security operations.
In this role, you will lead a team of SecOps analysts, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance management in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. You'll serve as the primary escalation point for high-priority security incidents, leading triage, containment, and post-mortem processes for production and cloud environments. Key responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of security incidents in a global 24/7 environment, performing hands-on forensic investigations and root-cause analysis, and developing incident analysis reports for management.
A major focus of this role is driving SOC modernization by orchestrating autonomous workflows and AI-driven operational processes. You'll partner with the technology team to transition from manual operations to an accessible, agentic SOC model, integrating AI models and automated workflows into day-to-day SecOps operations. You'll also lead SecOps projects from inception to execution, coordinate investigation and response activities with business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement through gap identification and recommendations.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in Incident Response or Cyber Security Operations (in-house or outsourced), with extensive experience managing security incidents in global production environments. You need 1+ years in a leadership role (Team Lead or acting lead), proven expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure environments, solid understanding of system and security controls on Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS, and experience with host-based forensics and OS artifact analysis. You should have a proven track record in orchestrating autonomous workflows and integrating AI-driven anomaly detection. Strong problem-solving skills, growth mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
