ARX Robotics is seeking a Security Manager for Physical Security to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of physical security infrastructure across multiple European office and production locations. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will balance strategic oversight with operational execution, building scalable security programs that protect personnel, facilities, and mission-critical autonomous defense technology during the company's growth phase.
Key responsibilities include: establishing comprehensive physical security protocols across all sites in coordination with location leadership; implementing technical, organizational, and personnel measures including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems; designing and managing security processes with continuous improvement cycles; selecting and overseeing external security service providers; planning security for corporate events, executive visits, and trade shows; coordinating executive protection and travel security; commissioning and tracking site security assessments and audits; managing incident response and emergency procedures with local authorities; and developing scalable physical security standards for new site buildouts.
You bring several years of experience in physical security within manufacturing or critical infrastructure (KRITIS, defense, aviation, or equivalent sectors). Formal qualifications include a Master's degree in Security Management, Bachelor's in Security Management, or equivalent certifications (Certified Security Manager, CSMP, CPP) with relevant professional experience. Prior military service, security agency background, or active reserve duty is advantageous. You must be willing to undergo government security clearance and have existing clearances are preferred. Fluent German (written and spoken) and professional English are required. You are prepared to travel regularly between domestic and international sites, including security-sensitive regions. You demonstrate strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
