Salary: USD 115,000 - 130,000 / annual

As SDR Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives focused on generating qualified pipeline for the enterprise sales organization. This role bridges strategy and execution, with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and developing SDR talent while continuously refining the outbound engine's systems, messaging, targeting, and operating rhythms.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Hiring, onboarding, and ramping SDRs with focus on maintaining high performance standards and accelerating time-to-productivity
- Coaching team members through structured call reviews, pipeline inspections, role-play, and weekly 1:1s to reinforce best practices and reduce performance variability
- Continuously refining outbound targeting, sequencing, and messaging to increase efficiency, conversion rates, and signal quality
- Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to strengthen lead routing, qualification rigor, and funnel visibility
- Monitoring and analyzing pipeline metrics including activity levels, meetings set, opportunity creation, and pipeline quality
- Enhancing tooling, automation, and enablement programs to improve scalability and productivity as the team grows
- Elevating operating rhythms and performance management to ensure consistent execution across the SDR team
- Developing clear career paths and promotion plans to grow SDRs into Account Executives and future sales leaders
Short-term success (0–6 months) means the SDR team consistently meets or exceeds targets with low variability, outbound messaging is sharpened and aligned to ICP, qualification standards are consistently applied, and pipeline reporting is clean and transparent. Mid-term success (6–12 months) includes a highly predictable pipeline engine, improved conversion efficiency, clear performance benchmarks, strong team engagement and retention with at least one promotion, and efficient scaling without degradation in quality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales within B2B SaaS
- 2+ years managing SDR or BDR teams in a high-growth startup environment
- Proven track record of improving team performance through data-driven coaching and funnel optimization
- Experience operating within an established outbound motion and increasing predictability of pipeline generation
- Strong analytical skills with fluency in pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and forecasting inputs
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Enterprise Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve routing, qualification, and reporting rigor
- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote SDR talent into closing or leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience selling into enterprise construction owners, general contractors, or other complex multi-stakeholder environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Gong, and modern sales engagement tooling
- Experience scaling SDR teams while maintaining pipeline quality and conversion efficiency
