Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 / annual
Boston Scientific's Neuromodulation team is seeking a Clinical Specialist II to support spinal cord stimulation (SCS) procedures and drive patient outcomes in the Seattle region. This role combines clinical expertise with sales support, working directly with physicians, hospital staff, and healthcare providers to advance pain management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical support during SCS implant procedures, including programming, troubleshooting, and intraoperative guidance
- Deliver patient follow-up care to ensure optimal therapy performance and long-term success
- Educate healthcare professionals on product merits, clinical usage, and latest technological developments through presentations, demonstrations, and digital platforms
- Partner with sales teams to drive therapy adoption and clinical outcomes
- Actively participate in surgical cases within hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospital and surgery center personnel to identify decision makers and facilitate future opportunities
- Identify potential patients and referral sources, providing education on neuromodulation benefits
- Participate in community awareness initiatives to increase patient volume and engagement
- Respond promptly to office inquiries and maintain open communication with healthcare teams
- Complete administrative tasks in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Frequent regional travel required, primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays; geographic flexibility essential
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in a sales and/or clinical role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical device sales and/or clinical education experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biology, Kinesiology, or other science field
- Experience as Physical Therapy Assistant, RN, Chiropractor Assistant, Radiologic Technician, Surgical Technician, or similar clinical field
