Cartesia is hiring its first Scaled Customer Success Manager to build the foundation for customer success as the company scales from hundreds to thousands of customers. The company is pioneering AI model architectures, founded by Stanford PhD researchers who invented State Space Models (SSMs). Cartesia is backed by leading investors including Index Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and others.
In this role, you'll own the post-sales experience for a growing portfolio of startup and SMB customers building voice agents and production-grade voice experiences on Cartesia's platform. You'll drive customer onboarding, product adoption, and growth while building scalable systems and playbooks that enable Customer Success to scale beyond direct headcount.
Key responsibilities include: managing a large customer portfolio from onboarding through renewal; driving product adoption and successful implementations; building repeatable onboarding, education, and lifecycle programs; monitoring customer health and proactively improving retention; identifying expansion opportunities with Sales; becoming a trusted product expert; creating scalable customer assets (playbooks, documentation, webinars, office hours); partnering with Product and Engineering on roadmap feedback; and continuously improving CS operations through automation and systems.
You'll need 3–6 years of Customer Success, Technical Customer Success, Account Management, or Solutions Consulting experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company. You should have experience managing scaled customer portfolios, strong organizational and prioritization skills, product intuition, customer empathy, data-driven decision-making, excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences, high ownership, a builder mindset, commercial awareness, and comfort with AI tools.
Nice-to-haves include experience with developer tools, APIs, AI products, infrastructure software, or technical SaaS; supporting technical buyers like engineers or product teams; and building customer education programs or self-service onboarding.
Cartesia has in-person offices in San Francisco, London, and Bangalore with an in-office culture.
