Emburse is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Billing to lead the architectural vision and long-term roadmap of the company's quote-to-cash ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Business Systems, you will own the design, implementation, and optimization of CPQ infrastructure that directly impacts business velocity and speed-to-market in a high-growth, private-equity-backed SaaS environment.
You will move beyond standard Salesforce administration to architect scalable, pristine pricing and billing models. Key responsibilities include dismantling legacy CPQ technical debt, designing enterprise-grade quote-to-cash workflows, establishing best practices and governance frameworks, and ensuring the platform scales reliably as the business grows. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
This role requires mastery of Salesforce CPQ configuration, Salesforce Billing, custom development, data modeling, and integration patterns. You should have a track record of leading complex Salesforce implementations, managing technical roadmaps, and mentoring junior architects or developers. Experience with AI-powered financial operations, expense management, or spend intelligence platforms is a plus but not required. You will be the technical authority on quote-to-cash architecture, setting standards and driving continuous improvement across the revenue operations stack.
