Tide is a fintech platform transforming small business banking across the UK, India, Germany, and France. With over 2 million members and $300M+ in funding, Tide offers SMEs integrated business accounts, invoicing, accounting, and financing solutions. The company operates 2,800+ employees globally with offices across Europe and Asia.
You will lead Tide's financing advisory sales team in Germany, driving growth in the Partner Credit Services division—Tide's SMB lending platform. This is a critical leadership role during the team's expansion phase, where you'll build and scale a high-performing sales organization from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include:
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and coach a team of financing advisors. Establish a performance-driven sales culture that balances ambition with support, celebrating wins and fostering continuous improvement.
• Revenue & KPI Ownership: Own pipeline management, deal progression, and KPI tracking. Ensure the team maximizes lead conversion by leveraging all available partner financing products and hitting revenue targets.
• Sales Coaching & Enablement: Provide hands-on coaching on deal structuring, objection handling, and closing techniques. Deliver targeted training to improve sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement operational improvements to increase conversion rates and team efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with credit partners. Collaborate closely with the Head of Commercials and leadership to align team goals with company strategy.
• Customer Excellence: Maintain highest standards in customer service, whether advising existing Tide customers or converting prospects without Tide accounts.
You'll report to the Head of Commercials and play a key role in establishing Tide's financing business as a cornerstone of growth in the German market. This role transitions from hands-on selling (during team build-out) to strategic leadership and coaching once the team is fully staffed.
