Wolt is a global delivery platform operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries. The company was founded in 2014 and merged with DoorDash in 2022, combining forces to expand delivery services for restaurants, retail, and other merchants worldwide.
In this Sales Specialist role, you will manage a pipeline of small to medium-sized restaurant and retail partners, driving them through the complete sales cycle from initial contact to active merchant status on the Wolt platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full sales process with new potential restaurant and retail partners, including handling inbound inquiries, researching leads, conducting meetings and market visits, negotiating partnership terms, and closing deals
- Guiding potential partners through KYC/KYB (Know Your Customer/Know Your Business) compliance processes, clarifying requirements and ensuring accurate information submission
- Negotiating partnership terms and maintaining ownership of relationships until handoff to onboarding and account management teams
- Cross-functional collaboration with Merchant Services and Account Management teams to maintain and grow existing merchant relationships, including commission negotiations and ownership change management
- Making data-informed business decisions to support sales strategy and partner success

Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, inside sales, customer support, onboarding, business development, or partner relations (preferred)
- Strong relationship-building skills with ability to tailor offerings and business models to specific partner needs
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; CRM tool experience is an advantage
- Experience in retail or HORECA (hotel, restaurant, catering) industry is a plus
- Fluent in Bulgarian and English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving license required
