Prefect is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, analytics, and operating rhythms that enable the go-to-market team to perform at its best. This is a high-impact role combining strong Sales Operations expertise with a bias toward action—identifying business needs, recommending approaches, and independently driving solutions from conception through implementation. You will work closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional partners in Finance, Marketing Operations, Customer Success, and Operations. You'll partner with the GTM Engineer on technical infrastructure including dashboarding and reporting. The scope spans the GTM technology stack, sales compensation, forecasting, pipeline management, performance analytics, planning, and process design. Key responsibilities include: owning and evolving the sales operating system by designing and continuously improving processes governing opportunities, accounts, pipeline, and closed business; leading sales systems and technology strategy with Salesforce at the center, ensuring integration, adoption, and data trustworthiness; driving pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance management through inspection rhythms and data standards that give leadership clear visibility; owning sales compensation design and administration in partnership with leadership and Finance; turning data into decisions by defining metrics and analyses that surface trends, diagnose root causes, and inform leadership recommendations; and leading cross-functional GTM initiatives from problem through execution on annual planning, territory decisions, product launches, and process changes. Required qualifications: 6+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or closely related role, ideally in B2B SaaS; deep Salesforce expertise including CRM architecture, workflows, integrations, data quality, and administration; hands-on experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, performance analytics, quota setting, and compensation design; strong business judgment and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive complex cross-functional initiatives. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting scaling or changing GTM organizations, familiarity with modern GTM stack tools beyond Salesforce, experience designing compensation models for subscription or consumption-based SaaS, and a bias toward simplifying rather than adding complexity.
