Tempo is seeking a Sales Manager, Enterprise to lead a team of Account Directors driving revenue across the enterprise customer base. With over 30,000 customers including a third of Fortune 500 companies, Tempo is the #1 time management add-on for Jira and a trusted name in the Atlassian ecosystem, offering integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, program management, and reporting.
In this role, you will be accountable for your team's performance against quota while building the coaching, hiring, and operational rigor needed for rep success. You'll set strategic direction through goal-setting and pipeline management, partner with marketing on lead generation, and provide leadership with data-driven insights on progress, market trends, and competitive dynamics. You'll report directly to the SVP of Sales and play a key role in scaling the enterprise business.
Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding sales staff, conducting regular one-on-one coaching and team meetings, motivating staff and supporting professional growth, and managing performance across the team. You'll set short- and long-term sales goals and quotas, build business plans for revenue and expense control, track sales pipelines and metrics, and analyze data to inform forecasting and strategy. You'll monitor market trends and competitor behavior, report progress and financial data to upper management, and resolve escalated customer issues.
You bring 7+ years of sales or account management experience, including team leadership or mentoring. You have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets both personally and through a team. You possess strong coaching skills, exceptional communication abilities across stakeholders, and are analytical and data-driven. You're comfortable using AI tools to boost team productivity, sharpen forecasting, and support customer communications.
