Standard Bots is the largest U.S. industrial robotics company by robots shipped, trusted by organizations ranging from independent machine shops to NASA and Lockheed Martin. We're seeking a Sales Engineer to own day-to-day commercial execution in a Texas territory.
You will be the primary point of contact for customers from first outreach through close, building relationships with plant managers, operations leads, and automation engineers at manufacturers across your region. Your responsibilities include prospecting and business development across manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors; leading technical discovery conversations to understand customer production challenges and automation goals; conducting tailored product demos (live and virtual); owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including proposals, pricing, negotiation, and contracting; collaborating with the Implementation team on deals requiring turn-key integration scope; maintaining accurate CRM pipeline data and activity logs; building strong relationships to drive repeat business, expansions, and referrals; representing Standard Bots at industry events and trade shows; and providing voice-of-customer feedback to leadership and product/marketing teams.
You will work closely with your Regional Sales Manager on territory priorities and account strategy, and report directly to your Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director. When a deal requires integration scope, you'll loop in the Implementation team. When a customer needs a technical deep-dive, you lead it.
Compensation is structured as an OTE package with a base salary of $100,000 to $110,000 plus an uncapped performance-based bonus tied to territory revenue. The company is open to a variety of seniority levels and will build compensation packages commensurate with experience. All full-time employees are eligible for employee stock options and receive paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k).

- Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a remote, territory-based environment
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent) with disciplined pipeline hygiene
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Must reside within assigned territory in Texas
NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience selling complex capital equipment or robotics platforms (UR, Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, etc.)
- Familiarity with machine tending, palletizing, welding, or assembly automation applications
- Comfort walking a factory floor and talking shop with production engineers and technicians
