Salary: USD 195,000 - 270,000 / annual

The flagship product, NodeZero, is an autonomous pentest platform that scales across internal, external, cloud, and hybrid environments, used by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, MSSPs, and MSPs across organizations from educational institutions to Global 100 enterprises.
The Sales Engineer role is a technical partnership position supporting Account Executives in mid-market and enterprise deals. You will work closely with prospects to understand their infrastructure, security maturity, compliance requirements, and risk priorities during discovery phases. You'll deliver tailored, outcome-driven demos and proof-of-value engagements that connect NodeZero's capabilities to customer risk reduction and business impact.
Key responsibilities include leading technical qualification meetings, running structured PoVs, translating technical depth into business value, navigating objections and competitive positioning, and maintaining continuity through the customer lifecycle. You'll stay connected with key accounts post-close to track evolving needs, ensure value realization, and surface expansion opportunities. Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing is essential to ensure field feedback informs roadmap and positioning.
You bring 5+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, ideally in cybersecurity or infrastructure. You have experience with mid-market and enterprise accounts, strong cybersecurity fundamentals knowledge (threat landscape, vulnerability management, identity, cloud, AD), and the ability to simplify complex concepts for both practitioners and executives. You're comfortable running structured PoVs, managing technical validation cycles, and operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. You must be located in the Southeast region of the United States and have minimum 25Mbps consumer-grade broadband.
