Legion Health is an AI-native healthcare company building autonomous medical care, starting with psychiatry. The company has received regulatory authorization to let AI prescribe psychiatric medications and has delivered tens of thousands of patient visits in just two years while maintaining flat operational costs and industry-leading patient NPS and retention. Legion is backed by Y Combinator and leading venture capital firms.
You will build and lead the training and readiness system for Legion's provider-partnership team. Your primary focus is designing and executing new-hire onboarding: a structured one-to-two-week program with clear certification standards, practical rehearsal, and a strong bridge into field execution. As the team scales, you will establish a repeatable cohort cadence with onboarding during the first two weeks of each month, plus ongoing preboarding, coaching support, and curriculum refinement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and running comprehensive onboarding for Provider Partnership Managers and Regional Managers, including preboarding, live instruction, practice, certification, remediation, and field transition.
- Translating the provider-partnership motion into clear playbooks covering account preparation, outreach, discovery, referral workflows, follow-up, and relationship development.
- Developing messaging frameworks, objection-handling guides, role plays, call examples, and field tools.
- Partnering with clinical, compliance, and operations leaders to ensure all clinical claims, referral guidance, policies, and patient-access messaging remain accurate and approved.
- Training the team on CRM hygiene, workflow execution, handoffs, and reporting in partnership with Revenue Operations.
- Equipping Regional Managers with coaching frameworks, observation rubrics, reinforcement plans, and team-development tools.
- Spending time in the field observing real interactions and translating frontline feedback into curriculum and playbook improvements.
- Creating a practical content library with clear ownership, version control, and a process for retiring outdated materials.
- Supporting launches and process changes with training, communication, reinforcement, and adoption measurement.
- Measuring onboarding completion, certification, remediation, productive ramp, time to first qualified referral, and workflow adoption.
- Leveraging AI and modern learning tools to improve content production and practice while maintaining accuracy and field relevance.
You will partner closely with Provider Partnerships leadership, Regional Managers, Revenue Operations, and clinical and operations experts. Enablement owns readiness, training, and learning systems; Regional Managers retain day-to-day rep performance management; Revenue Operations owns commercial systems and planning.
The role includes periodic field visits to support coaching and learning, aiming for 2–3 field days per month when feasible.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a closely related role.
- Strong live facilitation, instructional design, coaching, and concise writing skills.
- Demonstrated evidence of improved readiness, ramp, adoption, or field execution from programs you personally owned.
- Ability to translate complex product, clinical, operational, and commercial information into practical learning materials.
- Comfort with CRM workflows, learning/content tools, performance data, and field observation.
- Ability to distinguish between knowledge gaps, skill gaps, process problems, and management issues, then work with the appropriate owner.
- Hands-on builder's approach: write the playbook, run the session, observe the field, measure the result, and improve it.
- Healthcare, provider referrals, medical sales, or relationship-driven field-sales experience is a strong plus.
- High ownership, low ego, clear communication, and willingness to travel periodically.
